Meet Me At The Wedding by Georgia Toffolo

I received a copy of this from the publisher Mills and boon, and Netgalley in return for an honest review. 

I love Georgia’s ‘Meet Me…’ series, and was so excited to get the last one, although also a bit gutted it’s the last one. This one was just as good as the others, and it wraps the story of the four girls up nicely.

The girls are all amazing in their own way, but I’ve been waiting for Lily’s story. And it did not disappoint. Lily sounds like an amazing woman, and Henry started off a bit of an ass, but redeemed himself after not too long.

I love the way the Estate is described, but the surrounding areas too like the waterfront. I pictured it all beautifully in my head, and it feels like the type of place a week away would be lovely. It was so good to see all of the girls and other characters from the other 3 books, all together again, and to hear more about what happened on that fateful prom night.

If you haven’t read these books I suggest you go buy them as they’re such good, romantic, happy books. I hope Georgia writes something else as I have fallen in love with her writing.

I almost missed this book and noticed it the day before publication day!! So of course I ordered it straight away to go with the others. I loved the first 2 books in the series so was excited to get on with this one.

I love the fact they’re all intertwined, characters from the past books pop up every now and again, and the history between all four girls is always at the heart of the story. This book, book 3, is Zoe’s story. If you’ve read the other books you’ll know about Zoe and the accident. I’ve been waiting to read more about her, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.  

Zoe is a very strong woman, she has faced massive things before in her life, but she hasn’t let anything stop her from doing what she wants to do. I loved reading about her, getting know her, and I was cheering her on the whole way through the book to get what she wanted! I really I liked Finn too, he seems a real nice guy and I wanted things to work out the way they wanted it to.

I shall say no more, except I’m really excited for book 4 to come out next year!! Meet Me At The Wedding looks to be a fab book, I’m just hoping it isn’t the last one!

I was very excited to get an e-arc of this one as I loved Georgia’s first book Meet Me In London. Meet Me In Hawaii was just as good. It’s set where Meet Me In London ends, but carries on with Malie, who was a best friend to Victoria, the main character in the first book. 

I liked Malie, I loved her lifestyle. How nice would it be to wake up and wander down to the sea, practise your favourite thing; surfing, then spend the rest oft he day teaching this to others. The descriptions of the surroundings were so lovely, and it made me feel all warm and sunny reading this.

I think I liked Tod better than I liked the guy in the first book (Oliver), he seems sweet. He’s kind and cares about the kids he works with. I also quite liked Malie’s godfather, and could picture him perfectly. 

The story kind of reminded me of the first one, girl meets rich boy and falls in love, but what’s wrong with that! We all need a lovely easy bit of romance don’t we.

It does mention spoilers from the first book so make sure you have read that one before picking this one up. I hope because of the way it was written about another of the friends, that Georgia carries this on and writes each of the next ones about each of the other 2 friends.
